I told you a while back about our volunteer pumpkins that had come out at the burial ground of last year's Jack-O-Lanterns. Well we had to research how to help them ripen up. We trimmed back the leaves so that they would get adequate sunlight, but they just don't seem to want to ripen. So today, we harvested them and lined them up in prime sunshine. Cross your fingers that they start to ripen!

FUN!! Even if they don't ripen, you could always let the kiddos paint them...that would be SUPER cute!
Fantastic! I hope that they ripen for you.
Green jack-o-lanterns could be interesting if they don't ripen :)
I actually bought some green pumpkins to carve this year. I don't know if the seeds are still good to eat but they'll look neat all carved up.
They look beautiful. If they don't get ripe... they would make a great Frankenstein family of pumpkins.
