We've been getting lots of rain this fall ... not complaining at all, because we're sometimes in drought situations. Gavin loves the rain and not for all the obvious reasons. He loves the rain, because when it finally stops, the world is his oyster and all of those beautiful puddles are his pearls. He gets SO wet and SO muddy, but what's a mom to do? You certainly can't deprive your son of puddles ... come on! Fact is, I'd like to join him sometimes.
We're all about the mud puddles over here! Every morning my son runs to the front window to make sure that the puddles are still there. Lucky for him we live on the wet West Coast.
2 things 1- Playing in mud is fun and you are a good mommy to let him do so 2- Yes, white chocolate reese's and I have met. The meeting went well. Very well.
I grew up in west Texas where it was very dry. Very. Dry. We got less than 10 inches of rain per year. When it WOULD rain, we had a delicious puddle that appeared on the corner across the street. We would be in that puddle the entire time it lasted.
It's a boys right to be muddy I say......at least that is my opinion until its my kid that does it. =)
ReplyDeleteCute pictures! My boys like to play in mud puddles too! Henry will only get in them with his rain boots on...but Grant will dive in head first!
