Chronicles of Single-Parenthood, Day 3

Soooo, the dog chewed through the Directv line outside and the TV is out in the living room. We have 2 TVs that are used to watch TV; one in the LR (now dead) and one in our bedroom (where Tucker sleeps 16-18 hours/ day). Since nothing interesting is on (ie Survivor, American Idol or LOST), I am fine with no TV (even though I missed the season finale of Deadliest Catch). The boys; however, are another story all together. They've had to resort to *gasp* playing with one another and actually doing things together. In the past (prior to the dog days of no TV) they moved in circles around one another. One would watch TV while the other played in their (shared) room and then they'd circle around like caged animals waiting to attack; baring their teeth as they slink off to separate activities. It's been nice not having the hum of the TV in the background. Of course Archie is in full panic mode...NO TV? He better soak up all the TV he can while he's at the hotel for class!

Oh man that stinks. I am sorry. Hang in there. Not too much longer.

Ugh... just one more thing for you to worry about. Hopefully, the kids will make the best of it!

uh...Archie will have the Dog shipped off for chewing the line and have the TV working by suppertime (after he gets home)...
then, there, now.

No TV? I think our house would be like yours. I'd be fine, but the rest of them, not so much. LOL
