My friend Dawn got to go by and visit with Johnny yesterday. She said that he was in good spirits and seemed to be weathering things quite well. I'm sure he is in a lot of pain. He has had 3 minor surgeries while in Germany and has 1 piece of shrapnel embedded IN his femur that will most likely stay. The good news is that he is coming "home" today and the even better news is that he is expected to make a full recovery.
