A Journey
After another plateau in the diet realm last month, I decided to take action. I called a Bariatric Clinic that a friend of mine used to loose weight. I had my first appointment yesterday. After being weighed, measured and answering a million health-related questions; they set me up with a diet plan, a list of supplements and an appetite suppressant. The plan for the first month is...
Cut out corn, potatoes, rice and grains (also anything made from those things).
I take my appetite suppressant as soon as I get up in the morning.
I eat 2 meals/ day and 2 snacks/ day with 2 protein supplements thrown in.
I have to drink at least 2 quarts of water/ day.
Only 2 servings of caffeine/ day.
I have to take a multi-vitamin, potassium and calcium with Vitamin D.
No fruits (except berries) or fruit juices.
So far today, I can really tell a difference with my appetite. I had to force myself to eat a cheese stick for my morning snack and the water drinking isn't a problem because the medicine makes my mouth dry. I hope that this is the answer for me. Keep your fingers crossed!

And hey-you can start training and head out west next summer to do a triathlon with a bunch of mommies if you want to.... :D
Sounds like a good eating plan... keep us updated!
