It all started out pretty innocently. Archie decided that it was time for Silas to get his hair cut. Nothing major, but he needed a pretty good trim. Silas; however, did NOT agree. Archie was persistent though and won out. He took him on Saturday while I was shopping with my Mom. We have a general rule in our house that Daddy is not allowed to cut or trim hair. We had a BAD experience once and all agreed that it would be a good rule to have. But TAKING him to get a haircut should be OK. RIGHT? Ummm, no. I got a call...
"How does it look?"
"ummm...OK, I guess"
"Does Silas like it?"
"I guess so."
OK...sounds good.
And then I get another call...
"You're going to have to take Silas back and get his hair fixed before you take him to the birthday party."
"What? Why?"
"He doesn't like his hair and says he looks like a girl."
Fine...
His first cut was like a crooked bowl cut and it was awful!! I took him back and HOLY COW! He doesn't look like the same kid anymore. He gained about 3 years and what seems like a good 3 inches in height. It's like when your baby gets their first haircut and looks like a big girl/boy. I kept looking at him; I just couldn't get over it.

Wow! Big change! He does look great, but what does he think of the huge difference? (especially since he didn't want it cut at all?)
