or atleast a couple dozen chocolate chip cookies.
We had a hot dog/ bake sale at the Weekday School this past Saturday to raise money for a new scholarship fund. I was back in the back "slinging dogs" and I hear a "customer" order up some dogs and "a dozen of Lisa Cameron's famous chocolate chip cookies!" Wha?
Of course, I hadn't MADE any cookies for the bake sale. I made cupcakes; but that's neither here nor there. Lisa Cameron's famous chocolate chip cookies huh? It turns out that I had made several of the Sunday School teachers some cookies around Christmas and one teacher in particular LOVED them. Her son was the fella ordering up the cookies at the fundraiser. I tell ya, I was SO flattered that I woke up bright and early this morning and baked up some cookies just for my admirers.
Now, here comes the secret. It's really sort of funny. My famous c.c.c (chocolate chip cookie) recipe came right smack off of the back of the Nestle Tollhouse Morsels package. snicker
Ya'll better keep my secret quiet OR start raising bail money for when they come to lock me up for cookie fraud! Shhhh!
