My Son ... the Designer

Some of you may know that my Uncle designs jewelry. You can see some of his work here: David Wysor.com. I own several of his pieces and always get the most compliments when I wear them. He recently moved back "home" from Phillie and the kids all just love him to pieces. He and Silas have been working on Silas' own line of jewelry. If you peaked at his site, you know that this isn't your typical mom and pop jewelry. He does amazingly, beautiful (and expensive) design work; so it's kind of funny that he would let a nine year-old design his own line of jewelry. Silas came home all abuzz from his "day at work" at Uncle David's studio. He used the computer to finalize his ring design and then they set to work creating the mold from wax, a detailed job that requires long hours from a machine. So Silas' first piece is set to roll off of the presses soon. He is super excited and I am super excited for him.

I looked at your uncle's site and WOW! Beautiful stuff. :) I might pass that link on to my husband, as our 10th anniversary is in September.

And how cool is that for Silas! Can't wait to see his design.
