Deductive Logic

Every night, we tuck the wee diva in for a good night's rest and every morning, I find a small pile of books by her nightlight. Now, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that some time in the night Amelia is getting up and reading by the dim light of her night light. This makes me both happy and sad. Sad that she has to hover by the dim light to get her fill of reading and happy that she loves books so much that she chooses to read in the night rather than embark in some other mischief.

As a former night-light reader, this post made me smile from ear to ear. Good for her! (I was so avid about it, my parents went through a phase where they put duct tape over my light switch, so they could tell if I was up in the night reading. To be fair, I was doing it so much that I wasn't sleeping and I was getting sick. LOL! I can't believe they had to resort to duct tape though.)

Very sweet. Hope she keeps it up.

Oh ... this is a child after my own heart! I love it! Maybe you should get her a little brighter nightlight so she doesn't strain her eyes! You're doing great if she loves books like this already!
