I hopped from here to there and then there and came across Christina at Soul Aperture; the simple things. She's challenged us to BLOG about the simple things that bring joy to our lives. Then, you link up at her BLOG and for everyone who participates, her family will donate $1 to Doctors Without Borders. Pretty easy, no?
So, you know that I can't just simply follow the rules, I have to bend them a wee bit. So, I am going to BLOG about the simple things that make an (almost) 2 year old happy ...

an unattended Swiffer
opening the refrigerator
closing the refrigerator
opening the refrigerator
(you get the idea)
a fresh pack of yogurt raisins
your sister's favorite doll
bare feet on wet grass
showers with daddy
**
big brothers
taking socks off of unsuspecting folks
pink plastic shoes
helping momma vacuum
an open door
sugar-free popsicles at 8am
books
Nana
***
empty boxes
warm baths to splash in
puppies
rubber ducks
soft touches on sleepy faces
the moon
balloons
free lollipops for haircuts
****
momma's arms in the dark night
the last sip of coffee forgotten in a cup
warm cookies
cold milk
flashlights
walking on tiptoes
bubbles
*****
And you?

Hello, Lisa. I am visiting you today in the wake of Christina's love. This is an adorable tribute to simple things! After all, who more than children know how to appreciate them ~ and to teach us what is really important. Thanks!
