Isn't Life Funny?

It seems like just yesterday...without even thinking, I would rest my hand on my belly and Tucker would wiggle around, snuggling up on the inside to my hand on the outside. It was a wonderful pregnancy. I knew that it would probably be my last so I tried to enjoy every second of it. With one baby here and one on the way, you can imagine how fast it went. My only real hope was that unlike his brothers and sister that he might come on his own. And he did! It was so neat to wake up at 4 in the morning with contractions. Since I had only ever been induced before, I wasn't sure if those weak contractions were even the real thing. I think that most women will say that Pitocin induced contractions are MUCH worse than the regular ones. I remember waiting as long as I could before we went to the hospital. Tucker's birth was awesome (not that the others weren't). And then there he was. He seemed so small and helpless. He had the scrawniest wee legs and the most pitiful cry. To me, he was the runt of my litter.

Flash forward almost 7 months now and he's filling out quite nicely. Tuck always has a smile for us and squeals in delight at his brothers and sister. He is still a cuddly little soul. God sure knew what he was doing when he brought him to us. I am so very thankful.
