I'll kiss whoever can find the answer to what the heck that road sign means.
Archie and I spotted it on the way home from my Grandfather's at Thanksgiving. It may be in NC or SC. He lives so close to the boarder that I'm not sure which state we were in.
A couple of guesses are that there is a protected plant along that particular stretch of road or that some eccentric millionaire bought the spot of roadside land and wants to make folks wonder.
Craziest road sign I've ever seen!

I think it means no mowing or killing of the grass and plants. Maybe some endangered plants or trees? Sort of like the Texas Bluebonnets, you don't mow them over!
I think it means that you will be abducted by rabid, alien farmers if you spray pesticide on the plants:)
No need to kiss me...your undying adoration for me will suffice;)
What the?
Strange!
I think Shannon is probably right, but I'd like to vote for the eccentric millionaire. Some guy in Amarillo, TX pays people and businesses to put up his crazy road signs he has made. Weird...
hahahaha! Makes you wonder who sat around and came up with that one!
ROFLMAO
I am in the camp of 'if you spray somethign her, we will run you down with your tractor." so there.
well, maybe i am just lazy but it screams no doing any work of any kind; be it manual or vehicle assisted. Either that or it is some stand against landscapers???
so out with the smooch.
