Obligatory School End Post

So long school year ... Hello summer!

Silas racked up on the awards this year.

* A/B Honor Roll
* Perfect Attendance
* Highest AR Points (boy)
* Best Reader (voted on by his peers)
* Best All Around (voted on by his peers)

Is that the best you've got?

MUCH better!

He also completed his social studies project to share at curriculum night.

Gavin won a "Nutragous Award" for having the most outstanding personality.

And finally, let's compare what 180 days of schooling has done to my children:

First day of 3rd grade!

Last day of 3rd grade!

First day of Kindergarten!

Last day of Kindergarten!

Congrats on the awards and making it through another school year! I just read your comment on my blog. I graduated UNCC in Dec.98 with an Elementary Ed. degree (which I noticed you used to be a kindergarten teacher, as was I, so we may have been in the program together). Are you in Charlotte? After my visit there, I am dying to go back! Such a small world...CRAZY!

I graduated in Dec. 98 but actually finished in Oct. b/c I did my student teaching at a year round school during the summer. We had to have had classes together. Do you remember Ann Deville? She was my advisor and fav. professor.

Love all of the awards that Silas got. And Gavin cracks me up. Definitely a kid with personality. ;) And he has grown! Wow.

Had to come back and mention that I totally had the wrong name.. It was Patsy Deville instead of Ann. But I know you know who I'm talking about either way.
