Raisin Hell

So, how many raisins would you guess come in one of those medium sized individual serving boxes? You know, the kind that are found in diaper bags across the globe. The go-to snack of every desperate mom, eager to fill their minion with something of nutritional value. Like this ...

What do you think? 30 or 40 maybe? 10? One and half ounces can't equate to much, right?

There are 107 raisins per box. 107 raisins! How, you may ask do I know such an obscure, but tantalizing factoid?

Because, my friend ... in a vain attempt to clean the bathrooms this morning, I gave my wee-est babe a box to eat. He, in turn decided to spread them from one end of my kitchen to the other and in my OCD tendencies while cleaning them up, I decided to count them. (I know there's a "name" for the need to count things, but I'm too lazy to GOOGLE it) Raisins in the floor, not so bad. Raisins in the floor that my darling diva decided to trample on in her muck boots, pretty darn bad. You see when those tiny bits of fun get ground into the floor, they tend to make an icky sticky mess.

Let's re-cap ...

Raisins in the box ... GOOD!

Raisins spread over the length of the kitchen ... BAD!

So the bathrooms are sparkling clean and the kitchen now needs a mopping.

**How did I end up with a post about raisins? I'm sure to get the Mommy BLOG of the year award with this one!

Brady loves those things. I on the other hand, can't stand them. He loves to spread them all over my vehicle.

I've never thought about bringing raisins in a box. Xander isn't really keen on them and I haven't thought about giving them to Liam. But now that I see the floor issue, I may pass anyway.

We don't eat raisins, but we devour craisins! 107? I never would have guessed that many.

seriously....107? You'd never think there were that many. I just packed a box into Colin's lunchbox but I'm too lazy to go down and count them.
